The battle between Batman and the court of owls will move further ahead in season 2 of Batman: The Adventure Continues.
Season 2 of Batman: The Adventure Continues is returning as Alan Burnett and Paul Dini prepare to launch the second installment of their comic book series. It will go exploring deeper into the happenings of the first season while also bringing in new development into the storyline. The main enemy that Batman would have to face off against is non-other than the Court Of Owls.
The Court of Owls, created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, first appeared in Bat man (vol.2) #2 in 2011, is an organized crime group and secret society made up of wealthy Gothamites who have secretly existed since colonial times in Gotham City. They are involved in all sorts of evil deeds, including kidnapping young children and transforming them into their assassins known as the Talons.
The Situation
Gotham is in grave danger once more like the evil overlord organization, “The Court Of Owls”, is back in town. While their motives and the reasons for their return remain unknown, it is certain that nothing good can come out of their return. DC Comics has released the cover art and two preview pages of Bat man: The Adventure Continue Season || #1 which revealed an amazing look at Batman’s latest team-up. Bat man joins forces with Deadman and faces off against Talons and the Court Of Owls. This is suggested by the cover art where Gotham City was shown in the shape of a Talon of the Court which symbolized the deep control that the Court enjoys over Gotham.
The Court Of Owls is not a new uprising villain team-up but an ancient organization that has been in Gotham long before Batman, pulling the strings from the back of the stage. The Preview page revealed that Batman is investigating strange claw marks along with Commissioner Gordon and Deadman. It is obvious that this is the work of Talons and as Batman moves deeper into his investigation, he reaches closer to this new enemy.
As Veronic Vreeland returns, Deadman reaches her mansion in order to question her about the Talon gauntlet that Batman finds in her mansion. The Battle between these Crimelords and Gotham’s very own caped crusader would certainly be absolutely thrilling with Deadman adding spice to the story. Batman: The Adventures Continue Season II hits comic book shops on June 1, with digital chapters publishing biweekly from May 6.
