In 2009’s Avatar, the Resources Development Administration was the sprawling human space institution that came on the moon known as Pandora. Thus was done to mine its resources for the coveted Unobtanium, spurring an epic war between the RDA and Pandora’s native Na’vi. During that war, Senior RDA commander Colonel Miles Quaritch was murdered in action, evacuating behind a vacant stance for Edie Falco’s new character, General Ardmore, to come.

In the background, numerous commandos gather around a vacant platform that will be the RDA’s Ops Halo Station for battleground undertakings once CGI is applied.
Before Avatar 2 was declared to have finished its filming, many behind the scene photo from Avatar 2 were released to the world, comprising an image of director James Cameron inside the film’s High Camp Bio Lab set.
Some of the behind the scene photo from Avatar 2 that were belonging to the cast of the film show the cast receiving deep-sea diving lessons in Hawaii and the first official shot of resuming filming in New Zealand after the production was halted due to coronavirus.
Avatar 2 is written and directed by James Cameron. It stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Edie Falco, Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, and David Thewlis. The film will be arriving in theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.
