Suicide Squad has lost some of the action sequences of Ben Affleck as Batman. It’s been 4 years that the theatrical cut of Suicide Squad has hit the theatres. But the audience was not convinced and still waiting for the original version. The fans are waiting for David Ayer’s version of Suicide Squad via reshoots. Though the movie received $750 million worldwide. But it was not received well.
WarnerMedia has agreed to play Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League on HBO max. Fans are having the same hope for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. They feel the Suicide Squad by David Ayer would get the same treatment. There would be many differences between the theatrical cut and “Ayer Cut” of Suicide Squad. The director has fumed a few details. Now what is new is that a member of the stunt team of the film has shed light on the potential of Batman.
Richard Cetrone, Affleck’s Body Double Has A Say In This
Ben Affleck has returned to reshoot for few scenes in Suicide Squad as Batman. His stunt double has revealed the details of their work that was left. Richard Cetrone is Affleck’s double in Suicide Squad and other DC films as well. In an interview with Lady Falcon, he has spoken about Batman’s role in Ayer’s cut. Richard has expressed his will to see the origin cut. He has provided a quick tease.
“There were some things. I did a little more with the car, like trying to get into the car, trying to get through the roof. So I did a little more. There would probably be a little more of Batman in there.”
Suicide Squad has featured 3 scenes with Ben Affleck as Baan and only two are in suit.
He’s composed at the beginning for Will Smith’s Deadshot, with them fighting before Batman detain Deadshot. The larger sequence for Batman appears with the car scene. Although he begins in the Batmobile, the Dark Knight finally winds up on the lid of Joker’s car before the Clown Prince of Crime wrecks it into the river.
The additional scenes would be minimal at the best. But a bit more Batman would placate many once the Ayer cut is released. Even if the sequence would not be there, DC and Batman fans will have a chance to see him more.
There are many scenes of Batman in Snyder’s cut of Justice League also. Perhaps, Richard will get to shoot again if there will be a need. And there would be chances that Batman would have a bigger part to play in there.
