Bird Box’s sequel, The sequel to the 2014 horror novel Bird Box, Malorie is finally completed. The author, Josh Malerman who made the smash-hit Netflix movie, Bird Box announced recently. He tweeted, ” “MALORIE has arrived”. Its Bird Box’s sequel!!

Malerman thanked everyone in his tweet, from editor to the publisher. That was really humble of him to give this credit to the, as in the end, he was the one who wrote the book.

The publishing house of the book, Malorie, The Penguin House, described the plot on their website: “Twelve years after Malorie and her children rowed up the river to safety, a blindfold is still the only thing that stands between sanity and madness.

The movie version is currently in development by Netflix. But the movie version of Malorie will have to wait due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Malerman spoke to Inverse this month, he said: “I can’t say much, but I can say that it is in development. Sometimes it’s weird, all this secrecy, but I’m game.”
