Netflix has confirmed the release date and also have released the first look of their upcoming period drama the Bridgerton, produced by the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder Shonda Rhimes. Bridgerton is a novel bases series, based on Julia Quinn’s eponymous best-selling novel series, which unfold the lives of eight amazingly aristocratic children of the late Viscount Bridgerton in Regency London: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth. This show is set to move in between 1813 and 1827, Quinn has set out to create a Bridgerton trilogy. But she found herself so enamored in the titular family’s immersive dynamics that she ended up developing an octet of novels, each centered on one of the Viscount’s children.

After that in 2019, Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page were cast to be in the lead of the show. while Jonathan Bailey, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, and Polly Walker were finalized as the other cast.
On Thursday, Netflix officially released the first look of Bridgerton, while they also confirmed that the show is going to be dropped on this Christmas. Netflix is going to release all the episodes together on December 25, 2020. The 10 images that Netflix has unveiled from the show feature the series spectacular ensemble in their finest period outfits. One of the images unfolds the exciting chemistry of leads Daphane and Simon. While another image is a family picture of Bridgerton siblings.
