Call of Duty Warzone, zombies are expected to attack the whole map of Verdansk, teased news on Twitter.
Zombies are set to arrive on Call of Duty Warzone. This is not the first time that zombies will be making an entry in the game. It is also not the first time that zombies will appear in the battle royale mode. Call of Duty Warzone released in March 2020 and there has been a great wave of appreciation from the gamers for this game. Call of Duty franchise has been one of the most successful game series and it has been a great business of Activision. Call of Duty Warzone achieved 75 million players just in the time of a few months. The game receives updates regularly with map changes, and battle passes, and many more.
The first instance of zombies in Verdansk was in October 2020 during Haunting of Verdansk update. For a small period of time, the players could return back as zombies after being dead instead of going to a gulag. They could hunt down other players. There have been many leaks and voice line leaks pointing to the expectation of a new update arriving soon. A tweet from the official Call of Duty account confirmed that zombies have arrived from a shipwreck location from the southern part of the map.
The tweet has a video which is a fictional broadcast report which ends with the helicopter of the reporter losing control and the connection with the anchor is lost. The anchor mentions that the story is developing and the viewers should definitely stick around to get the latest updates. There have been many leaks until now. There are speculations that this zombie attack update could end with a nuclear attack destroying Verdansk and thereby leading to a new map.
Though the game is going great and is on fire, there a lot of bugs and glitches the game is still facing. Players have problems with skins and sometimes they can see through walls. Activision is working on all the fixes making the game smoother. But it is taking time as they are also developing content and story updates on the side. Call of Duty Warzone is carrying the franchise ahead and players are happy. What more could Activision want!
