Captain Marvels found out that her mother was Kree defector. Her mother’s encounter with an alien warrior gave her the superpowers.
However, to reveal publicly about Carol Danvers being a half-alien was not an easy thing to do for her. The US military didn’t like anybody to know that their former officer belongs to the family of the war-mongering space empire. But the real trouble starts with some other jingoistic empire: Kree-Skrull armada. Also, what happens when the criminal you have been sent to is none other than your half-sister?
