The first look of The Flash Movie is revealed at the DC FanDome event. It is revealed in the form of concept art that has featured the Fastest Man Alive with his new Suit and a Batman in the team.
Ezra Miller was cast as Barry Allen in The Flash in 2014. Miller was announced for a solo movie that was supposed to release in 2018. But the movie was delayed. The delay happened because Miller has joined DCEU in 2016 with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Also, he has reprised the role in Justice League and done a cameo in Suicide Squad. The film has faced many setbacks. Various filmmakers have joined the project and then left it. The list includes Seth Grahame-Smith, Rick Famuyiwa along with the duo of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.
The Flash movie has tapped Andy Muschietti as the director to complete the project. The solo DC film is slated to release in 2022, currently. It is part of DCEU and was announced to have a panel in the event that is DC FanDome. It was confirmed that The first look of The Flash will be released at DC FanDome. And the director has actually offered exactly the same.
First Look Concept Art For The Flash Movie
During the DC FanDome panel of The Flash, Muschietti has revealed the first look concept art. The art is featuring Barry Allen with his new suit. He has confirmed that the suit is developed by Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) of DCEU. There is then another piece of concept art that shows The Flash who teams up with Batman (Michael Keaton).
It was teased earlier that The Flash will unite multiple universes. It included that of Michael Keaton who has been depicted in Tim Burton’s Batman and in Batman Returns.
The story adapts the Flashpoint in the DC comics. It sees Barry Allen traveling back in the time to save his mother. This has created a new timeline.
It was revealed that DCEU’s Batman, Ben Affleck will be back for The Flash. He will play an important part in Barry’s life and story. Though, it is speculated that his part is nothing more than a cameo. But we hope the character turns out to be more than the glorified cameo.
The new suit of Flash seems to be more streamlined. Now, more details about the movie and the places that Keaton and Affleck would fit in will be revealed later with time. The Flash is not going to hit theaters before 2022.
