The Biggest Connecting Link

Comparing her devastating situation to a sitcom in order to comfort herself is a minor feat. What’s even more similar between The Dick Van Dyke Show Season 2 Episode 21 and WandaVisionis the plot. The movie that was being watched in the sitcom was about an evil alien called Kolak from the planet Twilo, who takes over people’s bodies and turns them into “Twiloites” by way of alien crystals that are hidden inside walnut shells.

People who are converted into Twiloites only eat walnuts and lose their sense of humor. The legion of Twiloite drones is like Ultron’s army from the movie featuring Wanda’s debut in the MCU, i.e. Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The of something looking like walnut but being something far worse is like referring to Agatha Harkness, who initially acted as Wanda’s friend but later turned out to be a villain. They’re also the parallel of the gem inside the walnut which transforms people who look at it just like the mind stone transformed Wanda when she looked at it for HYDRA’s experiments.
