Dragon’s Dogma anime adaptation, soon on Netflix

Dragon’s Dogma will be back on Netflix in anime form. It was released in 2012 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Later, it automatically expanded into Dark Arisen and therefore on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Dragon’s Dogma, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Castlevania anime

Dragon’s Dogma is still far from being called the most profound known game adapted into anime by Netflix. Netflix’s Castlevania anime aired in 2017 and it quickly had its huge fan following. After the third season’s success this year. Netflix confirms its fourth season. Another anime adapted from a game called Cyberpunk 2077 that will be titled as Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Although, the game, Cyberpunk 2077 will be launched this year. But Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will not be released anytime soon at least not until 2022.

Dragon’s Dogma to debut on Netflix on?

According to Netflix’s NX twitter account, Dragon’s dogma will be debuting on Netflix on September 17th, 2020. A few pictures and posters of Dragon’s dogma has already been shared by the company on various social media accounts. Also, Netflix at its website has listed Dragon’s Dogma anime “shady” and “exciting”.

Netflix shared the following synopsis of Dragon’s Dogma:

Only the Arisen can face the Dragon and defeat the apocalypse. Here’s your first look at the anime series adaptation of Capcom’s action fantasy classic Dragon’s Dogma, arriving on September 17th.

Has Capcom considered Dragon’s Dogma sequel?

Despite Dragon’s Dogma fans have pleaded for the brand-new sequel, Capcom has not ruled out any further plans. However, its creators have still hoped from the sequel. Even director Hideaki Itsuno wanted to make Dragon’s Dogma 2 and had considered Capcom’s comment to include few dead IPs in the game. So, he might think of giving the game a second chance.

However, Dragon’s Dogma ‘s TV show might not be what many crazy fans imagined. But it will show Capcom what real potential it had. It can still be an amazing and crazy fantasy anime just like Castlevania adaptation.
