Dwayne Johnson took social media to share behind the scenes photos from the set of the sitcom that is his autobiographical film, Young Rock.
Dwayne Johnson has shared a few pictures from his time on NBC set during his days from shooting. He captioned the post with, “Smooth operator. A pleasure to officially kick off production for our new NBC series, ‘YOUNG ROCK’.”
He continued, “A comedy series about my wild and often unbelievable childhood and crazy teen years. Before you understand where I’m coming’ from, you gotta understand where I came from. I’ve never done anything like this before. This one’s special and I think you’re gonna like it. Life’s unpredictable journey… Let’s shoot.”
Dwayne Johnson Is Seen Praising The Creator
His next post shows him and creator Nahnatch khan Khan pursuing COVID-19 safety protocols. Johnson has acclaimed Khan’s endeavor by captioning the image, “Working very closely with our series creator, Nahnatchka Khan. She’s a brilliant (and very funny) creative partner who I trust with my wildlife story growing up. We examine every word from every character because these are all real people, the real family who are still in my life and those who have passed away. Gotta be authentic and get it right. The good, the bad, the heartbreaking, the heartwarming, and the f**king hilarious. Can’t wait for you guys to watch this show.”
In his last picture, he told how “the people’s eyebrow” was born. “A little inside intel – I started doing the ‘people’s eyebrow’ when I was 13 years old. The ladies loved it. So boom I did it. It worked on all the girls. Made their backs crack and their livers quiver. Didn’t work on my teachers… Hello, detention, I’m Dwayne and I’ll be spending some time with you today.”
Dwayne Johnson’s autobiographical series has shared some casting news. Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu will be playing the teenage and young adult interpretations of the wrestler-turned-actor, respectively, in the forthcoming NBC series.
