Electro will not be blue anymore, as said by Jamie Foxx in a now-deleted Instagram post. Electro actor Jamie Foxx had posted on Instagram. The post is now deleted by the actor. He said that the Electro will not be blue when he returns in the MCU’s third Spiderman movie.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, actor Jamie Foxx hinted at the disparities between his version of Max Dillon/Electro in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and his forthcoming description in Marvel Studios’ untitled third Spider-Man film.
Electro Will Not Be Blue, Teased By The Star
The actor teased that Electro will not be blue. Foxx wrote on Instagram, “Tell Spidey let’s run it back!”, along with a picture showing his version of Electro in the sky over New York City as 3 different Spider-Men look on. “Super excited to be part of the new Marvel Spider-Man new installment [sic]. Can’t wait for y’all to check out the new one.” He further said that Electro will not be blue,” but will be “badass.”
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Max Dillion was portrayed as an electrical engineer and a Spiderman fan who will later gain the electrical superpowers. His skin took on a blue tiny in the nod to Electro’s appearance in the Marvel’s Ultimate Universe, which was different from the character’s look in the original Earth 616 look. This is certain that Electro will not be blue anymore.
Electro was one of The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s central villains alongside Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn/Green Goblin. Meanwhile, it isn’t apparent exactly how Electro’s character will shift for Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man 3, as the main plot details have yet to be released.
Earlier, Tom Holland said that the filming on Spiderman 3 will be finished by the end of Feb 2021. However, this is not confirmed by Marvel Studios. Also, it is not yet revealed if Electro will be the only villain in the film.
The third MCU Spiderman film, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya is set to release on 17th December 2021. The title is still not disclosed.
