We finally have the first official trailer of MCU’s upcoming Eternals movie and it was very educational.
After the ongoing pandemic made the MCU skip 2020 with no projects released, 2021 brings a lot of happiness for the Studio and the fans because the MCU is back in business. Ever since 2021 started the MCU has been ruling over our screen with one amazing project after the other. At first, we got WandaVision and then The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki is at bay, and then we’ll have the classic MCU films.
After the wait for a lifetime, Marvel finally released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Eternals movie. Since the Eternals movie is going to be unlike anything the MCU has ever done before, narrating the tale of actual God-like beings, is going to be amazing. To add to the magic of the movie, the MCU has assembled a cast of amazing stars including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanijiani, Brain Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee. The Eternals Trailer
The first official trailer for MCU’s Eternals is here and it reveals a lot about exactly what we are going to witness in the movie. The teaser had the very first look we got on the movie from the phase 4 teaser clip along with cool new footage from the movie. The teaser also gave us our very first close-up look at the teams suited up in their proper costumes joined up in an “Avengers Assemble” kind of moment. We know that the Eternals are a team of Celestial beings who have been living on the Earth for about 7000 years.
They came to the Earth to protect the humans from the Deviants and after their mission was complete, they went into hiding. But now they must reassemble as their foes return. Although the trailer revealed that the Eternals have preferred to guide the humans rather than get involved themselves, but things have gotten a little serious and hence their interventions is necessary.
They also acknowledged the Avengers, discussing who their next leader will be now that Iron Man and Captain America are gone. What’s to be noticed here is that they said that Captain America is gone, however, in the MCU, Sam Wilson has officially stepped up as Captain America which suggests that the Eternals will be set between the events of Avengers: Endgame and The Falcon & The Winter Soldier.
This also suggests that the Eternals have been monitoring the Earth and didn’t participate in the battle against Thanos as they believed that the Earth already has other guardians. It has often been said that the first impression is the last impression and as such the Eternals’ first trailer did a splendid job to hype up the fans.
