Giancarlo Esposito is imagined as the X-Men character Magneto that is summoning Mjolnir. Magneto is the most powerful mutant in Marvel Comics. He has been portrayed as an anti-hero and a villain. This character has become important in X-Men TV shows and adaptations, especially in Fox’s film series. Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender have played Magneto earlier. Fassbender played the younger Magneto. In 2019xs X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Magneto has appeared last. Though the film was a commercial failure.
Both Magneto and X-Men are right now in a state of limbo. No announcements have been made about future X-Men movies. As of now, it is inevitable if the character will join MCU soon. Some of the actors have shown their interests in reprising roles. Fans really expect to see Wolverine and many other Avengers. Avengers: Endgame director Joe Russo has expressed his concern about the stellar performance of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. There is no news if the new actor would take part in.
Here is the Fan Art
There are no current plans as of now. But fans are still imagining the characters. They wonder about how they would look when they appeal. Marvel Fan art makes Giancarlo Esposito as Magneto in X-Men. The image shows him manipulating the hammer of Thor, Mjolnir.
Artist has captioned the picture and mentioned where Esposito was also imagined as X-Men character, Professor X. He could play any character out of these two. He has proven himself to adapt to a villainous character. Though, Marvel will decide if they want to hold on to the original cast of X-Men films or recast from the scratch.
The inclusion of the hammer in the fan art is meaningful. It serves as a reminder of the powers that Magneti holds. Many think Magneto is able to control the hammer in many ways but will not be able to wield it.
