Fast and Furious 9 (F9) Gets A New Date For Its Release

The Fast and Furious 9 in the Fast and Furious franchise is again rescheduled to May 2021. This is done after many delays have already taken place due to COVID-19.

The Fast and Furious 9, the next film from Universal that is titled F9 has been rescheduled again. The movie is now set to be released in May. It will be released on 28th May 2021.

With the latest James Bond movie of MGM, No Time To Die, having been moved to F9’s prior date that is 2nd April 2021. F9 is now reportedly given a new date of its release, reported by THR.

Like many other tentpole movies that are meant to hit the theaters in 2020, F9 has faced many delays because of the pandemic. At the beginning of the year, Universal was the first to change the date of its major film’s release, by pushing the Fast and Furious 9 schedule to April 2021.

Since then, many other movies have been delayed. Some of them have been stacked up due to the further delays being required as the corona continues to shut down the theaters.

The shifting schedule often affects one film to take the space which another had held, prompting another shift in dates.
