F9 Release date, Dominic Toretto is back for yet another adventure in Fast and Furious 9. Though Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw seem missing from the crew, many of the members have already joined their places. Fast and Furious 9 will be having new characters and familiar faces.

The Story
Fast and Furious 9 finds Dom Toretto living a quiet life with Letty and Brian, his son. Though, a new danger will come from Dom’s past. The crew will be coming together to halt the plot that is led by Dom’s brother, Jakob. Ludacris has knocked that the franchise might head for the stars in the 9th installment.
The Trailer of Fast and Furious 9
The official trailer came out on 31 January 2019. It has shown the Toretto brothers who were seeing each other for the first time. They are getting in high stakes. The trailer has highlighted various vehicles that will be featured in the film. The vehicles featured are from a combination of tank-tractor to the magnetic plane to a rocket car. The climax of the trailer has disclosed Han returning to the franchise after his death in Fast and Furious 6.
Filming of the Fast and Furious 9
The movie began filming on June 24, 2019, in Hertfordshire. Some of the other locations include London, Los Angeles, Edinburgh, and Georgia. It has also filmed in Thailand for the first time in the history of the franchise.
Members involved
All the main members of The Fate of the Furious have returned to Fo. Jordana Brewster will be making her first appearance since 2015’s Fast and Furious 7. She will return as Dom’s sister, Mia Toretto.
Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren will return as Cipher and Magdalene Shaw.
John Cena will be making his debut as Jakob. He has been recruited by Cipher to kill the Toretto family. Other characters that are new include Michael Rooker as Buddy and Cardi B as Leysa. Bow Wow and Jason Tobin will be reprising their roles from Tokyo Drift. Besides, Anna Sawai, Finn Cole, Vinnie Bennett, Ozuna, and Francis Ngannou are also in the cast in unknown roles.
The movie will feature the return of Justin Lin as director. Lin has helmed the third through 7th films in the series.
He has admitted that he somewhat came back to the franchise to bring “Justice for Han.”
Scheduled Release Date of F9
It was earlier revealed by Vin Diesel that F9 will release in 2019. Though the date was pushed back because of Hobbs and Shaw. Then it was halted due to coronavirus. Now Universal Pictures has decided to release it on 2 April 2021.
Sequels to the film
Fast and Furious has already been planned for its 10th installment. It is announced to release on April 1, 2022. It will be the final film. According to Vin Diesel, the film could be divided into 2 parts. Diesel also indicated earlier this year that he was studying the scripts for a probable female spin-off as the saga ends.
Fast and Furious 9 will be directed by Justin Lin. It will star Vin Diesel, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Sung Kang, Cardi B, and more. The film will hit the theaters on April 2, 2021.
