Fitbit released Sense this week. This new smartwatch is filled with some amazing features and is giving hard competition to Samsung’s and Apple’s smartwatches.
Along with Sense, Fitbit also released Versa 3. But the main news is in the premium division. Here Fitbit couldn’t manage a practical contender since the smartwatch of Apple lighted the category five years back.
At the beginning of the month, Samsung quickly upgraded its premium present with Galaxy Watch 3. It is also filled with topmost features in addition to its own unique features.
Loaded with amazing capabilities in these smartwatches will make this year the most amazing season for smartwatches in these several years.
It’s been three years since the launch of the most unpopular and flawed smartwatch, the Iconic. Even Fitbit’s forthcoming Sense is nothing but a total reboot. Also, it’s the most accurate time for its launch. More than a decade ago, the wearables were popularized by the Fitbit. Also, the company’s most popular smartwatch series Versa kept the company going. However, no offering of a competitive offering has stopped the growth and reduced profits.
Fortunately, Fitbit has been relevant for so long due to its accessible and appealing metrics.
There is no way Sense is any weaker than other smartwatches given its all the capabilities and new features. It also has new features of stress counting through measuring skin temperatures. So, in the times of pandemic, that proved to be highly beneficial in today’s day and age. Also, Fitbit is making several advancements in its app with improved wellness and health features.
It is the only omitted feature in both Samsung and Apple. However, both Samsung and Apple have offered many versions of smartwatches without any costly integration. So, there won’t be any problem with Sense competing with higher but moderately charged watches.
The Sense offers plenty, including:
- Detecting irregular heart rate and spotting the ECG monitoring to get readouts for the doctor. Apple topped the smartwatch feature with the 4th series. Samsung has added the capability in the Galaxy Watch 3.
- For several years, Fitbit has been working on the capabilities. But it was made accessible to only this year. Still, it hasn’t been used to check the blood oxygen levels. It helps the users to check their sleeping patterns. So, Sense will be the first device to check the SpO2. SpO2 was added in Watch 3 by Samsung. According to the rumors, Apple will also add it.
- Both Samsung and Apple have included since years of wireless chargers. These chargers use magnets to pair themselves with the device. It’s convenient as well as reliable. As there are no outside electrical contacts.
Both Versa 3 and Sense will be accessible for the public in late September. The Sense costs $329.95 and Versa 3 costs $229.95. The premium watches of Apple and Samsung’s price is under $400.
