It has been a year now that Game of Thrones, the HBO series, has come to an end. There is news that the popular show can now be perceived in 4K UHD for the first time, in the new boxed set.
Pre Orders have started. Amazon has started the preorders for the set. The set is currently available at the retail price of $209.99 without taxes and shipping. The price would increase after including the taxes and the shipping charges. The set has all the eight seasons that have remastered picture and sound quality. It is expected that these would be shipped on 3rd November. The anthology boasts over 15 hours of outstanding special features in addition to all 73 episodes of the GOT, Emmy Award-winning series. Also, the set will be composed with the codes to restore all the episodes in digital 4K UHD.
The Series Is The Adaptation Of Martin’s Story
Game of Thrones is the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s series i.e. A Song of Ice and Fire. It began the publication in 1996. The show premiered on HBO in 2011 for the first time. Game of Thrones was developed by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for television. The series has adapted Martin’s story in a planned manner. It has included the published novel and has concluded the same with the eighth season last year.
It depicts warring kingdoms on the continents of Essos and Westeros. The portrayal includes the characters that had faced the sweeping armies and murderous betrayals. It also includes the undead army that was led by fearsome Night King. The series had earned 58 Emmy Awards across the whole run. It is the most Emmy Awards for any drama series in television history.
