George Clooney once again apologized for the disaster of Batman and Robin, ripping his work slamming terrible puns in the movie.
George Clooney said he hated Batman and Robin’s silly puns. Premiered in 1997 the fourth film in the Batman franchise saw George Clooney under the mask of Dark Knight with Chris O’Donnell in the role of Robin, also starring Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze and Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy
Batman and Robin was also the second go-around for Joel Schumacher at the Batman franchise after 1995’s Batman Forever. Schumacher’s approaches led to some bizarre missteps including mistakes in Batman’s costume and Script filled with some terrible one-liners. Overall the movie was a total disaster according to fans and audience and now considered to be the biggest failure in the Batman franchise with having just an 11% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
George Clooney Is Always Willing To Talk About Disaster Happened In Batman And Robin
Batman and Robin star George Clooney are always willing to talk about the disaster that happened in Batman And Robin, criticizing his performance while pointing out some other missteps taken in the movie. Recently while having an interview with GQ Clooney again talked about his performance and criticized the film for its terrible dialogues.
Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze was indeed the biggest perpetrator of terrible Batman & Robin lines, uttering atrocious would-be zingers like “Let’s kick some ice!” and “You’re not sending me to the cooler!” A true disappointment for the fans who saw Schwarzenegger’s delivering one epic one-liner in other films. Not only Schwarzenegger was the one who faced this act but Thurman’s Poison Ivy too got in on the bad dialog act, letting loose with the groan-worthy line “Sorry, my vines have a crush on you” while unleashing her killer plants on Batman. Clooney also got a chance to disappoint his fans “Never leave the cave without it” during an unspeakable gag about his Bat credit card.
