Spoiler Alert! Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life Season 2 Plot Revealed
It has been four years since Netflix rebooted Gilmore Girls with more characters in the series, making it more fascinating and binge-worthy. As fans begin to wonder when the next installment will be released, an online source suggests that a plotline for ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’ Season 2 has been revealed. Read on to know more.
Let’s start with those last four words, along with one more reminder that there are big ‘ol spoilers ahead.
A sneak peek of season 1 :-
All throughout season 1 of the show, it was relatively enjoyable and quite nostalgic to see the actors back in action. The first installment ended with a very confusing cliffhanger which left fans with some serious questions. The most obvious one being, “who is Rory’s baby daddy?
Much before the season ended, fans had already speculated that Rory might end up getting pregnant. Which kind of makes sense since Rory wasn’t quite in a “stable” relationship and well, it definitely would be a great plotline for the show. As fans witnessed yet another great cliffhanger on the show, theories and conspiracies have been making the rounds about who could possibly be Rory’s baby daddy!
Guessing logan?
If you’re guessing Logan, then you’re most likely to be proven right. Nothing has been confirmed yet, and most likely won’t be till the new season begins, but many facts support the discussion that he, in fact, could be the father. The pair’s on/off affair, which was quite the highlight of the show, makes Logan the most likely and logical option for being the father.
Four more last words: One last thing (for now) that I will say about the end of A Year in the Life: Watch it all again. The first time I viewed the finale I was just trying to take in and process what happened. After recovering from the shock of “I’m pregnant,” I went back and watched the final half-hour a second time and was able to appreciate more of the details, especially the gauzy, twinkly beauty of the wedding as it unfolded to the sound of Sam Phillips’s “Reflecting Light,” the same song that Lorelai and Luke danced to at the wedding of Liz and T.J.
The opening lyrics to that song — “Now that I’ve worn out, worn out the world” — imply that perhaps Amy Sherman-Palladino has worn out the world of Gilmore Girls. If that’s the case, those last few moments, as open-ended as they may be, are still pretty lovely. Not only do they suggest that life for the Gilmore girls comes full circle but that it goes on, too, whether the rest of us get to witness it or not.
