New images from the set of Hawkeye Disney+ series confirms Hailee Steinfeld’s role as Kate Bishop. A year ago Hawkeye’s Disney+ series was announced at San Deigo comic con 2019, filming for the series has begun giving the sneak peek of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton in the suit of Marvel Hero.
Renner has been delivering many hints about him reprising his superhero role soon, with filming notices confirming that work was indeed poised to begin for the Disney+ show. However Marvel Studios still has yet to disclose a release date for Hawkeye, but seeing the progress production is making it is safe to say that Marvel will not make their fans wait for long.
While Kevin Feige and his team are still avoiding talking about the series, but the series is making good progress and recently released set photos just confirmed Hailee Steinfeld playing the role of Kate Bishop.
Hawkeye Set Photos Show Hailee Steinfeld Filming A Scene With Jeremy Renner
A Twitter user with the handle @CreamorScream shared a bunch of set photos featuring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. The scene was filmed in a Subway station, it seems like they both were running from something, interestingly Hailee was seen using a bow.
As per the comics, Kate Bishop is the daughter of a wealthy businessman with some shady uncover business. She received special training after she manages to survive an assassination to save herself in future scenarios.
When Clint Barton was presumed dead, she takes up Hawkeye’s mantle; they eventually team-up in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye run, which is said to be the primary source of inspiration for the show.
The set photos went viral just after Hailee was seen on the set of Hawkeye. Marvel has been quiet about this move but indirectly Hailee has confirmed her casting. The Bumblebee actress was actually among the company’s top picks to play Kate in the MCU, although casting her didn’t seem to be that easy due to varying reasons.
At one point, she’s believed to be out in the running for the role. Before all this new Hawkeye series content, Steinfeld sparked rumors of her involvement in the Disney+ series when she posted a cryptic image on her Instagram, which featured a bow emoji.
