It’s been years now since Hollywood started planning a ‘Masters of the Universe’ reboot. But even after almost two decades and associating with tons of directors and writers, the project hasn’t seen much light, and unfortunately no one to date has been able to make it.
Among the so many huge names that tried to make it work are directors John Woo, Jon M. Chu, Jeff Wadlow & McG’. A huge number of scripts and pitches have been put forth by people like ‘Evan Daughtery, Christopher Yost, Terry Rossio, and David S. Goyer but nothing seemed to work. After a long long time, the movie is finally seeing a ray of hope when ‘Noah Centineo’ signed to play He-Man for the brothers Adam and Aaron Nee. The makers almost were ready with a speculated ‘March 2021 release date’ but just then when everything seemed to be fine, Noah left the movie and it came back to square 1, where it began.
Who Will Be Finalised As He-Man
Who might be his most probable replacement is still a question too big, but according to sources the most heard name in the talks is of the THOR himself i.e. Chris Hemsworth. But it seems like MCU’s Thor is set to face out some competition. And according to ‘Giant Freaking Robot’, the candidate who’s going to give him the competition is another superhero we are very familiar with i.e. Superman star ‘Henry Cavill’. Though Sony is fixated on Chris and Cavill wants it pretty bad and is doing all that he can to beat Chris. God knows who might actually be selected but it certainly looks like ‘Hemsworth’ is winning against ‘Cavill’ for now.
It’s certainly not clear who will emerge victorious of the 2, but one thing very certain that fans would love to see either of the two as HE-MAN, but till it’s all official and finalized we can’t be fixated on anything because it’s even possible that we might altogether see someone new in the role. So all we can do right now is, Wait and Watch till something new comes up.
