The original Unsolved Mysteries have encouraged viewers to “solve a mystery” by themselves by getting tips. Netflix has renewed Unsolved Mysteries for the streaming platforms. And it seems like those updates have appeared with it. Almost two-dozen credible tips have bombed in about distinct episodes. And citizen investigators on statement boards are sprinkling over the trials in search of the truth.
Co-creator and executive producer of Unsolved Mysteries, Terry Dunn Meurer has shown his excitement in an interview with USA Today. He said the incarnation of the reboot has received “20 credible tips toward solving some of the cases featured in the six episodes”. Further, he added by saying, “we pass them on to the appropriate authorities”. ” it’s only been 24 hours. We’re hoping there’s a lot of people who still haven’t watched and maybe this weekend they’ll sit down and binge the episodes and we’ll get more leads.”
6 More Episodes Would Be Added Later
The reboot of the series originally started from 1987 till 2010. The show has started streaming on the online streaming platform at the beginning of the month. The platform has made 6 episodes available to the viewers. Though, this is not the end. Netflix has 6 more episodes in its sleeve for the Unsolved Mysteries. The spokesman from the same has told Decider that the rest of the episodes would be released later.
There is a previous statement by Netflix’s giant that states, “The iconic series Unsolved Mysteries is back! Fusing signature elements from the original series with contemporary immersive, character-driven storytelling, the 12 new episodes are rooted in the experiences of ordinary people who have lived the unthinkable – from the trauma of a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or horrific death to the shock of a bizarre paranormal encounter.” He further added, “Alongside detectives and journalists, family members offer clues, present theories, and identify suspects, hoping one viewer holds the key to solving the mystery.”
