THE CONJURING UNIVERSE
The Conjuring (2013), directed by James Wan is based on a true story of Ed and Loraine Warren who were demonologists. They were trying to help a family who was facing paranormal activities in their house. But soon the investigators were caught in the middle of the most terrifying entity and the rest might haunt you for days! The Conjuring Universe has 5 spinoffs- Annabelle (2014), The Conjuring 2 (2016), Annabelle Creation (2017), The Nun (2018), The Curse of La Llorona (2019), Annabelle Comes Home (2019), The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2020).
The spin-offs might have been released in different years but chronologically, they are placed before or after one another. This is what might perplex you at times, but what is the use of a thriller, when it does not give you a headache with jumbling mysteries! Each one deserves loads of credits for an amazing storyline and the goosebumps always follow them. To date, The Conjuring is known to be the most famous one out of all its spin-offs! Each member of the main cast gives an amazing performance and would surely take you on the most frightening ride of your life!

Insidious (2010) is another horror thriller and the next amazing work of James Wan. It revolves around the story of a family who moves into a new house. But they start facing paranormal activities in their new home after their son, Dalton falls sick. It is full of the most unexpected sound effects which might trigger you. Not only the movie is based upon the horrific parts, but it will also take you on an emotional ride of a family doing everything. Everything they can to save their kid from the hands of demonic possession.
The secret of the red door would surely give you chills when they would be revealed! And the mystery also continues in its spin-off- Insidious 2 and Insidious 3. Although the movie has not been much critically acclaimed in comparison to The Conjuring Universe. Still, it is a much watch for all movie enthusiasts! As people are loving the duo of The Conjuring and Insidious.
