The Host is available on Shudder and fans are hell scared of it. Here is the new British horror film, Host that is about contacting spirits over Zoom. There is a group of people who are contacting spirits over Zoom. This is scaring people and has garnered a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Host is a masterpiece about a few youngsters who are trying to call dead during the lockdown. There is just a medium that allows them to do so, it is the Internet connection.
It is a 57-minute horror film. The Host is available on horror streaming service Shudder. Also, the film has got a higher score on IMDb than the Paranormal Activity (2007).
The Host was written by Gemma Hurley, Rob Savage, and Jed Shepherd. Savage was the one who came with the concept when he was looking for ways to scare people during the Zoom video call.
Filming While Being In Lockdown
While citizens were busy following the rules of social distancing, Rob was busy in editing the footage to make a brilliant piece of horror.
He had decided to play the clip with his friends, they believed it was in real-time. The demand was apparent that it ended up creating the movie in 12 weeks. People loved it.
One of the viewers wrote, “Without a doubt #Host is the best piece of art to come out of the pandemic.”
Another stated, “Watching Host on @Shudder_UK for the 2nd time. I genuinely think this should get an Oscar nomination for best picture for this year. A perfect 2020 film and proper scary.”

The cast has been tweeting and disclosing details about how they did it. The film was shot during the lockdown.
Emma Louise Webb, an actor has revealed, “We had no idea how the other cast members died or how the film ended. It was all redacted and kept secret. Glad though because I loved the surprise of watching it back. I was so so pleased and impressed at the final movie.”
