Actor Ian Somerhalder is famous for portraying the popular character Damon Salvatore in the supernatural show. The actor breaks his silence and quashing all the rumours. Recently, the 42-year-old actor appeared on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show. Ian was asked about the revival of The Vampire Diaries. Here’s how he responded.
Ian Somerhalder said that the show already had a satisfying run for eight seasons and there’s no need for a revival. “Listen, it ran it, it ran a great course. And now it’s still living. That’s what’s so amazing. It’s still living”. Further, Ian added,
“Like what would happen? Stefan and Damon are you know—Damon has like grey hair and they’re they have canes like, ‘Oh I got, gotta feed the baby. You know what I mean? No”
Well, it’s clear now that Ian Somerhalder aka Damon isn’t at all interested in a reboot.
