While the Joker takes on Bruce Wayne in a war where he loses all his assets to the Joker himself. Someone takes the advantage of the situation and stole some money back from the Gotham’s villain.
In DC comic, Bruce Wayne makes his entry as the Joker war has begun with Joker himself as he has stolen Batman’s fortune, he has stolen all his assets, including his house, tech, gadgets, and the entirety of Wayne Enterprises. Now, finally, the war is near to see the end, some took the advantage of this situation and stole money back. Selina Kyle has finally entered the fray in the Catwoman #25, she is joined by Penguin and the Riddler. Together, they make plans to rob the bank of the Underbroker, the man who manages all of the ill-gotten gains accrued by Gotham’s worst criminals, including Joker’s. It seems like one of them just got some more motives than filling his own pocket with assets.
At the very beginning of the war, after being tricked into helping to steal Wayne’s foundation and his all assets, Selina Kyle was seriously injured by Joker’s girlfriend’s punchline. The Penguin makes it his job to take Selina from the hospital to a secret hideout so that Joker’s goons can not finish their job. Taking Penguin and Riddler with her.
Batman’s fortune gets stolen with a full proof plan
In Ram V and art by Fernando Blanco’s Catwoman #25, Riddler hacks into Underbroker’s office security system. While Riddler is doing his job Penguin and his men try to take Joker’s clowns’ attention away from the office with some gunfire. While all this the mastermind of the robbing of Batman’s fortune infiltrates the offices herself, needing to physically initiate the fund’s transfer.
The robbery of Batman’s fortune goes as plan and then Selina plays her master stokes and betrays Cobblepot and Nygma using their help to get the stolen find back and puts all the money back to its place. A large chunk of funds goes to Gotham’s citizens as a return of the money that the criminals had stolen in past years.
Selina was really guilty after being used by joker to steal Wayne’s assets. This was before Bruce Wayne and the Catwoman’s romantic encounter. After all, this Catwoman has taken care that Wayne enterprises keep in working. And this is how Batman’s fortune is stolen.
