How Denver agreed to Money Heist season 3?
As presented in Money Heist season 1, Denver is the son of Moscow, a virtuoso robber who was called up by Professor, Alvaro Morte because of his expertise in digging tunnels. Since Denver had just gotten into a huge problem by misplacing a costly package of drugs, so he affirmed to the Royal Mint heist but only if his son would also be allowed to accompany as a part of the crew. Even though this condition did break the rules, Professor Alvaro Morte agreed to it. After exiting the Royal mint, Denver went back to Money Heist 3.
What’s the secret behind Denver’s “Trashy laugh” in Money Heist?
Denver’s character as written and explained in the script was bound to have a “trashy laugh” and it is one of his dominating characteristics. What is even more annoying is the harsh machine-gun spray of giggling. This at the same time is addictive to listen to and attempts to either increase or reduce the tension of a moment, which particularly depends on the circumstance. Lorente while speaking with Identity Mag told Denver’s extemporized laugh was important for him to get the role in Money Heist.
He said “The laugh actually came up on the casting for the show. From the very beginning, they wanted Denver to have a unique and significant laugh. And what happened is that I kept trying different ones, I found this one and we settled on it. And that was probably the main reason I was selected for this role.”
Lorente was asked during a press round table if he laughs the same way in real life also. To which he laughed and said “No, no, dear God if it was my laugh I would have tried to change it already.”
From a character’s point of view, Denver’s uncanny laugh suits him well. He doesn’t have any kind of filter as he speaks whatever comes in his mind without any thought. His loud and harsh laugh fits well with his booming and tough personality. He at the same time is an irresistible joker, and his laugh is many times pointed at his jokes.
