Well, Doctor Strange and X-Men may not have crossed their paths till now. But, they are somewhere connected. Doctor Strange and X-Men are connected through an unstoppable villain.
The Marvel Universe was established in the early 1960s. Since then Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and other writers and artists have used easter eggs including name drops, superhero team-ups, supporting characters to tie the massive universe together. These connections have made the world have a fascinating experience for the fans. They have also made the environment suitable for the superheroes.
Juggernaut is the born villain for Doctor Strange
Even in the initial Strange Tales title, Doctor Strange is never the main superhero crossover comic. He is never the majir suoergero in the exact levels of Avengers or Fantastic Four. There have been periodic examples where certain components of Strange’s world would seep into the tremendous world outside his Sanctum Sanctorum home. One of the decent doctor’s crucial powers has evolved to be the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak, (first used in Strange Tales #124). They are conjured through the ancient being itself. And greatly act as custody of objects and adversaries as well as lifts spells. However, Strange did not know that the crimson bands would ultimately end up delivering birth to one of his greatest modern villains.
Juggernaut As The Most Chronic Villain
In 1965, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had introduced one of the X-Men’s most influential and chronic foes Cain Marko i.e. Juggernaut. Juggernaut’s initial appearance in Uncanny X-Men #12 had revealed that they assited in a war. The brash Cain and his careful step brother Charles Xavier had assisted in the Korean War together. While serving in Asia, Cain would stagger upon the old lost chapel of the devil Cyttorak. Rejecting to give in to his brother’s warnings, Cain would snatch a grip of the temple’s ruby. The ruby would permit its beholder the capacity of the crimson bands of Cyttorak. An enormous quantity of the Juggernaut’s tremendous power has entirely arisen from ruby. The same ruby that Cain had frightened years prior in Cyttorak’s temple. With the incredible power, Juggernaut would go on to harm the X-Men and Marvel’s broadened library of superheroes for years.
While Juggernaut had been featured on screen, the films had ignored Cyttorak connection. Maybe because Marvel Studios has the ownership of Doctor Strange.
