Google is not working on Pixel 5 XL but on Pixel 4a and Pixel 5.
Google’s 2020 Pixel queue might look a bit different from the usual. This is if what names we are seeing in the company’s Google search app are true to be any hint. Many thought of Google working on its Pixel 5 XL and Pixel 5. However, Google is not working on any of it. Rather, Its building ‘Pixel 4a (5G)’ and ‘Pixel 5’.
Will Google Pixel 5 have 5-G?
Both these phones were earlier discovered as ‘bramble’ and ‘redfin’ by XDA-Developers. They both had built-in 5G support along with a snapdragon 765G processor. Another device that featured a Snapdragon 730 was also planned. But this year things are different. As the leaks that are so prevalent in today’s’ time somewhere reveals which name is carried by which codename and vice-versa.
To keep the cost in control, Google had used the midrange Qualcomm processor in Pixel 3A. The simplest device launched by Google was the last one: ‘sunfish’. Moreover, by the Google search app code it’s found out that there is no such thing as Pixel 5 XL. Also, that the ‘bramble’ and ‘redfin’ are Pixel 4A (5G) and Pixel 5 XL, respectively.
How all this is related to Google’s 2020 phone queue is still vague. It’s interesting to watch if Pixel 5 has something useful hunch to offer. Moreover, that something should go across the differentiated processors. For example, the face-unlock camera. will Pixel 5 be bigger than the ‘XL’ phone? Is this Google’s plan to introduce a single top device this year? Does any Pixel 5 XL exist? And on what basis will be comparing Snapdragon 865 chipset to other Android Flagships.
When is Google Pixel 5 coming out?
Nothing is clear right now and therefore it quite hard to comment on anything for the time being. However, what’s definite from today’s leak is that the current year’s Pixel queue will most definitely look dissimilar or contrasting from Google’s earlier devices.
