What will X-Men look like once it will be returned to the big screen? Fans are busy speculating the same. As of now, there are no plans for MCU to reveal anything about X-Men.
Rumors expand the DCEU that Spiderman by Sony would embrace the multiverse. And along with the forthcoming Doctor Strange sequel, the new concept would be brought to MCU. Though, all bets are off.
Marvel Studios has not disclosed any of its plans for X-Men in MCU. However, Fox’s X-Men series will reprise the role.
The series has faced more than the expected share of problems. Fans have already started complaining about the liberties that have been taken. And many movies like X-Men: Dark Phoenix were received poorly by critics and audiences.
But, Marvel might start having fresh plans for X-Men. After the trilogy, Fox has released 4 part reboot series and solo spin-offs for Deadpool and Wolverine. But none of them fit the narrative. And because of this many fans are imagining that MCU will break ties with X-Men. Marvel has not made any official disclosures about the plans.
Will It Be Offering New Timeline?
The fans are waiting anxiously to have an update on the MCU X-Men. Dafne Keen who has played Laura Kinnet in Logan has said that she is “absolutely” ready to reprise X-23 in MCU. Now another star is ready to reprise the role. Actor Bruce Davison, in a recent interview, has said the same. He has addressed whether he will come back to MCU or not. The actor said he is “not really interested” in Disney’s reboot but he remains open to playing in X-Men projects.
“I’d drop dead. I’d be so shocked,” Davison said. “I’d be more than happy to do anything that had to do with that, but I certainly ain’t holding my breath.”
Moreover, the MCU X-Men might not be as divided as fans might think.
If reports of Evan Peters, Quicksilver in Fox’s X-Men, joining MCU are true, then Marvel Studios might be having something more ambitious than just a reboot of X-Men.
