After the last venture of Jamie Foxx, he is exvited for Spawn Reboot.
The last venture of Jamie Foxx as Electro in The Amazing Spiderman 2 didn’t go well with the actor. The Academy Award-winning actor’s performance in the movie was exceptionally good but that doesn’t define or promises the success of a movie if the script is bad. Even Jamie’s performance couldn’t cover up for the movie’s bad script.
However, it has stopped the 52-year-old actor from going back to the genre. Jamie has two new movies in his basket both related to the superhero genre. He is playing a lead role in Netflix‘s Project Power. It is a thriller movie that surrounds the story of a street-level drug gifting people with super-human abilities for a short period. Secondly, Jamie Foxx will also play a lead role in the forthcoming Spawn reboot.
Spawn reboot will finally happen after almost 5 years of planning
Spawn reboot has been in the news for the longest time as being a big-screen adaptation for the cult’s most favorite hero. It’s been 5 years since its announcement and it has still never been taken forward. However, Jamie Foxx is very dedicated and passionate about Spawn reboot and his role in it.
Foxx in a recent interview discussed why he thinks it was the right and exact time for Black Panther to make a comeback.
“I surprised Todd McFarlane. I said, ‘Bro, I know that one day you will do this movie, and I hope you will keep me in mind’. What Black Panther did was let us know that it’s so necessary, and it’s the time. And Spawn is just an interesting character in itself. The heads that are being put together to bring you something special, lookout.”
Beside Foxx, Jeremy Renner is the other cast member whose name has been disclosed for Spawn. However, McFarlane has been for over the past several weeks hinting some big additions to the movie. Apart from the writer and the actor, nobody is talking anything about the reboot.
