Recently, some fans created concept arts for MCU’s Spiderman 3 featuring some glimpses of what can be Jamie Foxx’s Electro’s costume in MCU’s Spiderman 3.
Since it is announced that Jamie Foxx is going to come back as Electro in Spiderman’s 3rd solo film fans excitement level has crossed every bar. Recently Foxx posted a story on his Instagram account expressing how excited he is to exchange fists with the web-slinger. Before deleting his stories fox dropped some hints about Electro’s Costume, he said “he won’t be blue in this one”. Foxx’s hint gave a new task to every artist-fan to imagine how this new Electro’s Costume is going to look.
What changes can we expect in the new Electro’s costume?
Loads of Fan-made concept art is already viral over the web. Some of the best that you can find on Instagram come courtesy of artists and users awesome. arts, jackson_caspersz, jaopicksart, spdrmnkyxxiii, rinsh_art, boss logic, christ_ave41, and ellejart.
Awedope.art, jaopicksart, spdrmnkyxxiii, and ellejart’s concepts took some elements from old classic original Electro’ costume in the comic and gave it a touch of modern MCU. Jackson_Caspersz’s take integrates a very prominent tech component to Electro’s costume, which falls in line with much of the MCU’s translation of villains thus far in the Spiderverse. And rinsh_art’s version is a take on a later design of Electro’s costume found in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2009, featuring an Electro who is now literally wearing the scars of age, with electrical powers, on his face.
Foxx’s return is not the first merging of Sony and Marvel or the MCU, before this Spiderman’s first solo movie Spiderman: far from home featured the reprised role of fan-favorite J.K. Simmons as J.Jonah Jameson. Fox’s return can be a hint of that elements form the Amazing Spiderman is trying to make their place in MCU. Tom Holland’s Web slinger encountered Shocker, Vulture, Mysterio, and is all set to exchange hits and fists with Electro. Electro is the 4th member of the sinister six, the most dangerous villain Spidy ever encountered. The ending scene of Amazing Spiderman featured Rhino another member of Sinister Six’s gang. If Electro is coming back this can be a hint that Spidy is going to face a really bad situation.
