In this 12 years, long run time The Big Bang Theory has been the backbone of CBS’s comedy lineup. Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady’s show made its debut in 2007 and since it has been one of the most loved shows. The success of the show even led to a spin-off series titled Young Sheldon where the younger version of Sheldon was playing the lead role.
The Big Bang Theory follows physicists Sheldon and Leonard (Galecki) who get quite shocked when a hot and friendly waitress moves around the hall. The show entertained the audience with Sheldon, Leonard, and their friends Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and a slew of a guest star. The Romance between Leonardo and Penny even filled that gap of nerdy men and cooler penny.

The relationship between the couple didn’t end on-screen, they both had a relationship even in real life, but they broke up in just 2 years and in these years Leonardo and Penny ended up getting married. Their breakup and affected their professional life, even Cuoco thinks that their breakup led to some behind the scenes fun. Recently Cuoco opened up about her theory regarding Leonard and Penny’s later sex scenes on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast and Kaley Cuoco thinks an extra sex scene was added in the later season just to create sone mess between her and her ex Johnny Galecki.
Obviously, without Lorre there to confirm, this remains Cuoco’s own belief. If this is truly the case, it feels a little insensitive for Lorre to force Cuoco and Galecki together so often in the aftermath of their breakup. It’s a questionable move, but at least Cuoco doesn’t seem to view it in a poor light. She laughed at the idea, indicating she doesn’t mind what transpired while filming The Big Bang Theory. All in all, it was likely a lighthearted prank for Galecki and Cuoco.
But one thing is clear that even after their break up Leonardo and Kaley still share a friendly bond. Fans were excited when Leonardo and Kaley got married as they believed that this marriage will add some species to Young Sheldon.
