Fan’s art of Keanu Reeves’ John Wick revealed how he would appear as Sinestro and Green Lantern. Although, Reeves has never been deprived of popularity given his position in Hollywood. However, he has got even more popular since the John Wick trilogy. Moreover, Reeves will return to some of his most quintessential roles. These roles include, Neo in The Matrix 4 and Ted Logan in Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern (2011)
In Warner Bros’ Green Lantern (2011), Ryan Reynolds starred as a designative and leading character whereas Mark Strong as Sinestro. Although the film had only a few looks of a live Green Lantern performing an action. The movie was a total flop at the box office. Negative and criticizing remarks flooded at the box office review from both critics and fans. While there is a new Green Lantern movie in the making and HBO will launch its new Green Lantern Web series. But not much can be said about both the projects. Even though Tyrese Gibson and Tom Cruise had both been believed to act as Green Lantern in the past. However, this time new fan art expects some other star in the role.
Recently, the digital artist, mjhiblenart posted two sets of Reeves fan art. These fan arts were regarding how John Wick would appear as both Sinestro and Green Lantern. One of the artists on John Wick’s art piece posted alongside a caption that read, ” He is a Man of Focus, Commitment, and Sheer F***ing Will,” this statement is from the movie John Wick: Chapter 2.
Another DC Character: John Constantine
A rumor is doing rounds that Reeves will return to a DC character: John Constantine. As J.J. Abrams’ new live-action Constantine movie is also in news but is unknown as to Reeves’ recast. Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios has also commented on Reeves’s appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Reeves is certainly coming back for John Wick: Chapter 4 in 2022. However, if he will return as a superhero in DCEU is still uncertain. Also being such a brilliant artist, he will do good both as a supervillain or superhero.
