After the release of Lucifer season 5 part 1, fans have been eager to know about the possibilities of Lucifer season 5 part 2. The first half of Lucifer season 5 was a rollercoaster ride of emotion, fun and a sibling bond between Tom Ellis and his evil twin brother Michael. The Release Date:
Year 2020 has been a great year for the fans of Lucifer. After the release of Lucifer season 5, Netflix has renewed the series for season 6 after initially announcing season 5 as its last. For those who don’t know, Netflix had always planned for Lucifer season 5 to be split in two parts with the first eight episodes ending on a crucial moment.
It’s unclear to say the exact release date of Lucifer season 5 part 2 because of the global pandemic. But we are likely looking at an early to mid-2021 release date for part 2.
What can we expect from Lucifer season 5 part 2:
As the viewers know, the first half of season 5 ended with all the main characters in some state of tragedy. Ella’s been dating a serial killer. Maze is fuming at Lucifer for hiding the secret of her mother. And of course how can we forget about Lucifer’s twin brother Michael who has suddenly appeared to take his revenge. Infact, the showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich revealed that part 2 of Lucifer season 5 will be an emotional journey.
Joe Henderson told “Entertainment Tonight” that “Let’s just say that season 5b is our most emotional season of the series so far—our most emotional chunk for all of the darkness in 5A. Lightness is mixed in but I feel like 5A started a little darker. 5B will both be both brighter and even darker still and it’s always darkest before the dawn.”
The Cast:
Tom Ellis who plays the lead role will ofcourse be returning in the second part of season five. The viewers will see the regular cast Kevin Alejandro, Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Scarlett Estevez and Lesley-Ann Brandt in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, we might see some new characters in the next season.
