What happened in Legacies season 2?
Legacies season two left all of us with the fate of Hope Mikaelson and Landon hanging on the edge, while Hope is locked in a sleeping spell after being turned into a stone in Josie’s mindscape. Season two of Legacies showed Hope and Landon remained in their respective comas. So, will season 3 them quickly regain consciousness?

We have some exciting details that you are surely going to love! In season 3 of Legacies, fans will get a chance to see how Legacies’ characters pay tribute to “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” through a musical episode according to producer Brett Matthews.
The musical episode was supposed to take place in the nineteenth episode of the previous season, but the production stopped due to the global pandemic before the episode could be filmed. However, the showrunner Julie Plec announced on her social media handle that the musical episode will be featured in “Legacies” Season 3.

The Release Date:
The CW president Mark Pedowitz revealed that season three will air next year. He said “The CW will start its new season in January 2021, when we will launch our regular primetime schedule. But with everything still up in the air, there are no guarantees at the moment.”
