The Time Loop Multiverse Loki

Loki Is The Front And Center Of The Time Loop Multiverse

The first season of Loki ended and it resulted in the creation of a multiverse, but it has also explained how ‘Kang’ will ultimately destroy it.

The season finale finally unleashed the multiverse madness and marked the beginning and end of the time loop concept. Avengers: Endgame saw the concept of time travel and how the superheroes used it to their advantage and restored half of the population which eloped due to the snap of the finger by Thanos. And though Captain America (aka Steve Rogers) tried his level best to conceal all the openings that were created and thought so that he had successfully managed to achieve this feat.

On the contrary, there was one timeline where Loki escapes with the tesseract and he couldn’t deal with that one. Time Variance Authority was asked in to help with this one and this resulted in LOKI finding out hidden secrets about the timeline.

THE CONCEPT EXPLAINED

The whole concept of various timeline creations is very new for fans too, someone being late for work could even result in the creation of a new timeline altogether. While some variants were peaceful, others not so much, and this resulted in a multiversal war which would result in ending up the entire creation. One variant was able to gain an edge over the others and it got help from a creature called “Alioth” and also acknowledged the TVA to manage the timelines and their further creations.

Interestingly, Loki ended with the death of “He Who Remains” and therefore the creation of yet another timeline. This concept is expected to be taken forward from here and further discussed in “Marvel’s What if…?, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania” and obviously the 2nd season of Loki.

Loki season 1 might have subtly suggested that this creation and destruction of the multiverse is actually a cyclic process and in the due course of time, the multiversal war is inevitable. Also, because all the timelines, howsoever they may end are supposed to originate from the same source and this might lead to a battle with “Kang: the Conqueror” himself.

POSSIBILITIES MOVING FORWARD

There are only 2 possible outcomes that can be associated with the multiversal war, either all the creations would be destroyed or one variant of Kang named “Alioth” will sustain all others. This actually ends with the creation and destruction of the multiverse in a cyclic loop. If this theory is to be considered true, Miss Minutes and He Who Remains might actually have suggested the end result of this whole fiasco. Fans are also wondering that this might be an indication of the “Secret Wars” event mentioned in the comics.

Loki recently mentioned that he would actually love to continue playing the part for the rest of his life and such a plot will give him that chance to actually continue playing the plot for years. Well, fans couldn’t agree more because even though he is a villain and is supposed to create chaos, Loki is loved by one and all. Fans would love to see him for as long as they can.
