Lord of the Rings is ready on Amazon to witness the return of the most iconic characters. Lord of the Rings is set to bring iconic characters from the films and books on Amazon spin-off series.
If reports are to be believed, Galadriel, Elrond, and Sauron are the expected ones. They will appear in the spin-off series. The same spin-off series will begin shooting soon in New Zealand after the delay due to Coronavirus.
It is said that Morfydd Clark will be portraying the young “lady of light”. Lady of Light i.e. Galadriel is one of the greatest Elves of Middle Earth. The character was played by Cate Blanchett in the cinematic trilogy.
Hugo Weaving has starred as Elrond i.n. Lord of Rivendell. While Sala Baler and Alan Howard have combined together to play Sauron.
Though, it is not known till about who can take these roles for the TV series. The information was revealed by the Twitter account The OneRing.net. This has also claimed that the cast is enjoying their ” tighter bond”.

On Twitter, the post stated, “Lord of the Rings SDCC update: JA Bayona is CURRENTLY filming in New Zealand, the biggest production in the world to resume filming post-COVID.”

Earlier it was announced that the TV series has given thumbs up to start shooting in New Zealand.
New Zealand’s government has allowed 7 overseas productions to get into the country.
Along with the Lord of the Rings team, the team of Avatar 2 and Power of the Dog are already in New Zealand. They will soon be joined by the cast and crew of Power Rangers, Sweet Tooth, and Cowboy Bebop (anime remake).
