Who will win in the battle to be Almighty in Netflix’s Lucifer Season 5 Part 2. Here’s check out the honest review of Lucifer Season 5 Part 2.
When Lucifer was 1st being cancelled after 4 seasons, it left fans with so many unanswered questions. With Chloe (Lauren German) finally realizing who her partner actually is and seeing his devil face, will she be able to love him again? Will the two get together and have a fairy tale romance (Well, it sounds a bit cliché). Then Netflix gave its fans what they most demanded and came back with not just one but 2 seasons. Season 5, part 2 released on 28th May 2021 and it has given its fan a lot to talk about and certainly what they deserved or actually “TRULY DESIRED”.
The show picked right from where it left off, the fight between the brothers or God’s children i.e. Lucifer, Amenadiel, and Michael along with Mazikeen, when Michael kidnapped Amenadiel’s child and God’s grandkid ‘CHARLIE’. And that is when enters GOD and tries to make peace and harmony between his children. The series begins at the episode named “Family Dinner” where God tries to cook and have a proper family dinner in the presence of all his children and Linda(Charlie’s mother).
Lucifer: Story Ahead
The episodes are not just for ‘the fight for the throne. Although Michael has been banished from Earth by God, Chloe and Lucifer continue to be work partners and romantically linked as well struggling to put forth their feelings for each other. The 1st few episodes serve like lessons for the emotionally unavailable Mr. Devil himself, who has a bucket load of ‘daddy issues. But, thankfully daddy decides to stick around this time and have a reality check that he hasn’t always been the ‘Best Dad’ and deliberately wants to make it right.
There’s even a episode named ‘Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam’ where everyone on and off is singing and dancing because GOD makes them do so. Infact, towards the end Lucifer and God too have a jamming session. Towards the end of this, GOD also revealed that his powers are acting out a bit and Lucifer demands him to go back to ‘HEAVEN’ and away from him, but he insists on staying. The acting and plot grows as the series progresses. The best part about this season is that everyone of the characters have their ‘MOMENTS’ and shine through it and its not Lucifer and Chloe on the inside and all others on the outside.
There’s also an episode where it’s perfectly clear that Michael is planning revenge on Lucifer and will be a worthy opponent for him because as much progress Lucifer’s made, Michael brings out the worst in him. Family can sometimes do that and God’s children are exactly alike others in terms of ‘Sibling Rivalry’. Though he has been banished for now, we all know he must be plotting something or the other.
This season certainly has shown a lot of growth (emotionally and personally) for each of the characters. Lucifer has always been on the list of the ‘MOST WATCHED’ or ‘BINGE WATCHED’ series and fans won’t be disappointed with what they have been offered for now. Though the show is set to return for another season, there are still some cliffhanger moments that will make it worth waiting for another season. And that’s exactly ‘WHAT WE TRULY DESIRE..!!’
