Lucifer Season 5 Trailer, The news regarding the trailer launch was announced with a caption: “Based on this trailer we’re pleased to confirm Lucifer still looks devilishly good.”
The trailer shows Tom Ellis’ Lucifer homecoming from hell. Lucifer went there in the last season, season 4. After his journey to hell where he killed a demon rebellion, Lucifer returns. However, it’s not Lucifer who returned. It was devil’s twin brother Michael.

Fans got crazy after watching the trailer. All stepped ahead and filled social media with praises of all kinds. One fan wrote,” Thank you @NetflixUK for keeping this love alive… So excited right now.” While another said, “So it’s Michael who kisses Chloe wow it’s just not what we wanted we wanted Lucifer and Chloe but oh well I’m hyped for the season.” While another wrote, “OMFG!!! Michael!! No way!!! They better not let Chloe sleep with him… we have waited too long for Lucifer and Chloe!!”
While there has been quite a speculation about the next installment of the show, Lucifer. However, the producer of the show revoked a rumor last month.
This rumor was regarding Ian Somerhalder. The rumor stated that Tom Elis would be replaced by Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries). But this rumor was immediately quashed by the producer, Ildy Modrovich, who laughed it off.
Ellis had portrayed the role of the devil in the crime drama series. He played the role for the past four seasons. He will repeat his role as a devil in the upcoming fifth installment. However, he will also be spotted as Michael.
Modrovich also replied to a post that said casting speculation the ‘joke of the day’. On this, Modrovich replied, “Bwahahahaha!”
So, with this, one thing is confirmed for sure that he is not gonna go anywhere anytime soon. Also, the show has confirmed the news by posting on twitter, ” The devil made us do it. Lucifer will return for a sixth and final season. like, FINAL final.”
Earlier, the fifth season was believed and promoted as the final season. However, things have changed now. As Lucifer’s fans screamed for the next season.
When is Season 5 of Lucifer coming out?
Lucifer was originally publicized on Fox. However, it was dropped just after three seasons. This opportunity was taken by Netflix from Fox’s hands. Although, Lucifer season 5 trailer has come out. It will be premiered on August 21 on Netflix.
