It is getting excited for the fans of Lucifer as the production has officially begun on Lucifer Season 6.
However, everyone is excited about this idea that the Lucifer Season 6 will be soon on Netflix. It means we will finally be saying goodbye to Tom Ellis’ character along with everyone in the show.
Joe Henderson, the co-showrunner for the series, has revealed the big news about Lucifer Season 6 on Twitter. He wrote, “Today is our first day of shooting Lucifer season 6! So happy we’ve finished up season 5, and we will be working our buns off to get it finished and to Netflix!”
“Thanks to our incredible cast and crew for working hard and safe and delivering a kickass finale!”
Lucifer is a fantasy drama that features the enticing character of Lucifer Morningstar, known as the devil himself. He decides to bind off his life in Hell and trade in LA.
He begins with a nightclub before becoming a consultant with the LAPD.
No Official Word For Release Date of Lucifer Season 6
Lucifer season 6 is a pretty good run for a show.
Lucifer was canceled by Fox but then was later picked up by Netflix.
However, there is no official word on when fans can expect to see Lucifer Season 6 on screens, but the second half of the 5th season will be dropped next year.
While speaking to the Pilot TV podcast, Ellis said, “The second eight episodes, I’m not sure when they’re going to drop because we’ve still got the finale.”
“We were about halfway through it. So we go back, we start with that, and then we go straight into season six. So hopefully that’ll be ready to go, I would imagine, sort of Christmastime or early next year.”
Some fans had earlier claimed season five would be Ellis’ final hurrah as the titular character, with one site even indicating he was getting on to be replaced by Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder for the Lucifer Season 6.
