A new fan-art for Mandalorian imagines Baby Yoda turning into Dark Seid. Ever since the Force-sensitive infant who’s from the same species as Jedi Master Yoda made its first appearance, it made a special place in fans’ hearts. But following the revelation of his story seen in the latest episodes of The Mandalorian he might be set down the dark path like Anakin Skywalker.
Thanks to the connection they share with force now, Ashoka and Baby can communicate no verbally, which allowed Baby Yoda to reveal his origin. As it was revealed that, he grew up in Jedi Temple under the training of many masters. However, when the r 66 is executed, an unknown being hides him, after which, Baby Yoda was left alone to take care of his own life.
He had been being taking care of his own until Din Djrain found him at the end of the Mandalorian premier. Between the trauma that fears him and his development connected to Mando, Ashoka revealed that Grogu has many fears inside him.
Revelation of Baby Yoda
After this revelation, a fan used his art to imagine what Baby Yoda will look like after he turns into Dark Seid and become Grogu. In his art, he gave Mandalorian his very own red lightsaber, cloak, and a menacing look, dubbing him Darth Grogu.
Frankly, it’s really hard to see Baby Yoda turning into Dark Seid even not in the fan-art as he was looking like a Child having a dark phase, not an evil devil. It has something to do with The Mandalorian’s depiction of Grogu thus far, not to mention his adorable character design.
While he’s exhibited dark side tendencies like Force-choking Cara Dune (Gina Carano) in season 1, and munching on Frog Lady’s eggs and stealing cookies in season 2, all of those were chalked up to him being an infant who simply doesn’t know better. It would be exciting to see how the Mandalorian will explore this Dark Sied of Baby Yoda and which can easily come out if it gets triggered.
