Avengers by Marvel has caused an uproar when it announced that Spiderman would be exclusive to PlayStation. Crystal Dynamics says PC and Xbox users will not be getting exclusives on their own. Fans are excited to see Spiderman’s appearance in-game. They have got wind while seeing it through an Easter egg in the trailer that was dropped in June. Sony has not confirmed that he would be seen in the game soon.
Though, fans of avengers have not reacted well to the news. Some have complained about the decision and some have planned to boycott it.
Crystal Dynamics almost shrugged the response off, indicating that Spider-Man’s exclusivity wasn’t a big contract. This is hurting that Spiderman will be playing in the background without having a major role in the game. Sony along with Marvel has already an existing relationship since 2018. Now they are locked into an exclusive deal.
Crystal Dynamic confirms about the Exclusive Characters
This would definitely upset some fans. Crystal Dynamic says Spiderman will be the only platform for exclusive characters. Studio head of Crystal Dynamics, Scot Amos, and designer Lauryn Ash have confirmed that there are no recent plans for exclusive characters for Xbox and PC versions of Avengers by Marvel.
Still, players do still have more characters to look
forward to, no matter what outlet they play on. Hawkeye has been declared to join the superhero team after Marvel’s Avengers blastoff. More unannounced personalities are also in the same way. More additional characters and content for the game would be free. But microtransactions will also offer decorative options like alternate clothing for a price.
