It has been revealed that Black Cat will attempt to steal the infinity stones which will jump-start “Infinity Score” which will eventually lead to Marvel’s Infinite Destinies event. This will be one of Felicia Hardy’s biggest heists and it seems as though she will be facing a bunch of threats, hurdles, and oppositions in her journey to obtain the most powerful objects in the Marvel cinematic universe. What will be the most interesting to see is how this heist plays out considering the fact that the infinity stones are now living beings.

The upcoming Black Cat #8 written by Jed MacKay and artist C.F Villa, will mark the beginning of Black Cat’s “Infinity Score” and we shall be witnessing Black Cat’s relentless attempts to get hold of the Infinity Gauntlet and collect the mighty Infinity Stones. This might come as a shock but this was actually hinted at in Black Cat #3, during Marvel’s King in Black event, when Felicia had a vision where she was wielding the Gauntlet, and it seems like that vision might just become the reality with this upcoming issue.
Marvel’s Infinite Destinies, which was meant to release last year but got postponed due to the pandemic and is rescheduled this summer, will be something that this event will directly tie into. Infinite Destinies will be featured in 8 different annual issues, one of them is Black Cat #1, which further indicates that Black Cat #8 will showcase Hardy’s greater involvement with the stones.
The preview pages released by Marvel disclosed that in the upcoming issue Felicia will be going head to head with none other than Nick Fury, this will surely turn some heads.

It seems according to the synopsis that before taking the job to steal them all, Hardy might not have known the Infinity Stones were living people with powers. New characters like Overtime, Prince of Power, star, and more have become individual hosts ofeach Infinity Stone in the Marvel Universe after Adam Warlock gave them all cognisance at the end of Marvel’s Infinity Wars. This will make Black Cat’s work much more difficult especially with Nick Fury on her tail.
What will also be intriguing is to find out who actually hired The Black Cat to steal those Infinity Stones, in the first place. As anyone who wants to gather those stones does not have the best intentions in mind―Thanos. Nonetheless, it seems like Felicia Hardy is all set to carry forward the biggest heist of her life. Black Cat #8 releases from Marvel Comics in July.
