Microsoft is all set to launch its game streaming, Project xCloud on 15th September. For now, it is exclusive for Android users. Ipad and iOS users will certainly have to wait. Project xCloud will be a part of the Xbox Game Part Ultimate. Its cost will be $14.99 per month. Microsoft has promised to stream more than 100 games.
xCloud Gaming on iOs/iPad
“We have always wanted to increase the gamers on all the devices through Xbox Game Pass. For now, there is no nothing to tell about iOS.” A Microsoft spokesperson tells it to The Verge. The iPhone and iPad users would be a bit disappointed. However, it is also not that unexpected. Apple does have its store policies. Hence, Microsoft testing of XCloud on iOS is rather limited.
Microsoft has remained silent on the Apple store policies that do not support the xCloud. Google’s Stadia is definitely not there on iOS and iPads. Apple has been questioned for its strict policies, 30% cut off in-app purchases. House Judiciary Committee as a part of a tech antitrust hearing.
Microsoft is focusing on its 15th September xCloud launch. It is all set to be launched in 22 countries Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and the US.
Microsoft will preview them on 11th September. It is also planning to launch Xbox Game Pass on the 15th itself. According to Microsoft, both the version in Korea and the Galaxy Stores of Samsung will have “in-app purchase capability”. The Google Play version will not.

Microsoft has teamed up with Nacon, Razer, 8BitDo, and PowerA to design accessories for xCloud gaming. Even the old Xbox One controllers and Sony’s DualShock 4 controllers can be used. Here are few of them.
