We are very close to the release of Justice League aka Snyder Cut on HBO Max. There are some details about behind the scenes from the theatrical version of the same movie. Zack Snyder has left the project due to a tragedy in his family. His daughter died in 2017 by suicide. And so he was replaced by Joss Whedon who has changed almost everything from the original version.
During Justice Con on 25 July Saturday. The director said, “It certainly was our decision to leave the movie, in the light of what happened. And was it specifically our call on who would do it, and all that? It was before the committee. It was a thing that was … we were pretty distracted at the time.”
He responded to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that got less than stellar reaction both critically and by fans. Warner Bros. executives have wanted something very close to the tone that Marvel Studios deliver. So they had hired somebody who has directed two Avengers films. They wanted some magic in DCEU.
Snyder Makes More Revelations
It is hard because the company line was provided by WB executives. Joss Whedon was putting final touches on what already had been shot by Zack Snyder. His name still remains as a director. But his fans consider that to be an insult.
Now it is very clear that it was the committee’s decision to take Joss Whedon over Zack Snyder on Justice League. It followed a screening summit that included screenwriters like Andrea Berloff and Allan Heinberg. The studio has shown Snyder’s footage to the small panel of screenwriters. Shortly after this, Joss Whedon was hired in place of Snyder to complete the whole film.
Snyder Cut of Justice League will be available in 2021 to the audiences. More details might be revealed by Snyder soon.
