The Netflix Original series, The Order, revolves around a college student named Jack Morton and his wish to take revenge from his father, Edward Morton, for killing his mother. Soon, Jack finds himself entering the secret magic society of the Belgrave University – The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. Edward is the Grand Magus and he would do anything to get his way and power with magic.
The season 2 of the series has been released now and we cannot wait to watch more in the world of monsters, magic and werewolves. Several reasons drive us to addict ourselves to the series.
THE WORLD OF MAGIC
The series has a different kick when it comes to witches and magic. It might seem dark given the way the members of the society are referred to as and their dress code. But the good ones would always defeat the bad ones. Acolytes, the beginners, are being tutored by the Medicum, rank above the Acolyte. The real power of the Temple lies in the hands of the Grand Magus, the evil Edward. But that does not remain true for very long. After being defeated by his own son, Edward might have gone to hell, or not, is the most exciting thing to watch.
THE KNIGHTS
Apart from the Blue Rose society, the Knights of Saint Christopher or the Werewolves surely make us feel frightened with the way they kill their victims. But they are not evil. Looking like normal human beings and having the ability to transform anytime, they fight bad magic. The ringing sound in their ears acts as the signal of evil. Although, the enmity between both the societies remains intact, they both have also helped each other at times. And Jack being played between both the societies makes it difficult for him to be with his love Alyssa, the Medicum.
THE TWISTED END
While the fans thought that Alyssa and Jack are finally together now, all the dreams were flushed with the powder of memory. The members of the society blew the powder into the faces of all the Knights. Now they might not remember everything. It would be exciting to watch the next move of The Order.
