Natalia who portrays Nancy Wheeler on the show spills the beans about the show that the Stranger Things cast was unsure about the show. They thought Netflix would cancel the show after one season. Stranger Things cast were not sure like any other TV shows, who just know they have a hit on their hands. However, season one reviews and success came as a surprise for all of them.
During an interview with Independent, Natalia said “Nobody knew if it was going to get picked up again after we finished filming season one. There was really an air of we might never see each other again”
The Reason:
Natalia further revealed the cast and crew had no idea about the success. She said they had only a day to prepare for press questions and not to spill any spoiler during the media interactions. In her words, “No one had any idea how successful the show would be. There was no preparation—there couldn’t have been even if we’d known. It was surprising and an overwhelming shock. Then it was like ‘Ok’ this is how it is now”
