Neil Patrick Harris is all set to appear in The Matrix 4 which would be the fourth part of the initial trilogy. Neil Patrick Harris is the new addition to the franchise and talked about his experience shooting for this massive movie. Neil talked about the director Lana Wachowski being very dedicated to the sets and the shoots. Generally, shots for such huge movies are set and one page is shot per day. But Neil talked about the work being fast and very meticulous with detail.
For instance, he talked about how they wait for hours so that the clouds clear out and they can shoot in natural light. He says that she wants to do her things in her own way and the crew is equally involved and dedicated to the setup and shooting. Neil also said that in spite of this being ‘The Matrix 4’ it doesn’t feel like it because everything is intimate and easygoing at the moment. He talked that they are sometimes shooting multiple pages in 30 minutes or so. In general, the “How I Met Your Mother” star seemed very excited to be a part of this blockbuster movie series.
“It didn’t feel large because it felt like she was in her sweet spot, which was filming on the fly, filming using natural light. Sometimes you’d sit around for an hour waiting for the clouds to clear, and then you’d quickly film. You’d film pages at a time in 30 minutes and then be done. You would think that a giant movie would be 100% storyboarded, animatics, and we’d be checking off shots. I think she lived that before three times over, and I would suspect that she wants to do things her own way now. It wasn’t often that you felt that you were doing something gigantic because she made it feel very intimate.
No Clue, No Teasers, Nothing Is Known
It is ‘The Matrix 4’ and Warner Bros understands the height of anticipation there is among the crowd. Other than the cast and the new logo, no information has come out. All the cast and the crew are extremely careful with keeping the story and any information. No spoilers have come from anywhere. There was chatter about the name of the movie is ‘The Matrix: Resurrection’ but that has been denied by Warner Bros. Even Neil while talking to the press was careful with his words and not letting anything out.
The new cast additions include Priyanka Chopra Jones, Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, and Jonathan Groff. No information about these characters and their roles has been revealed. The Pandemic did affect the shoots but now the movie is set to release in December. With the realize date just 11 months away some teaser or some mystery unfolding is eagerly awaited. Other than the new cast the old faces we will see are Keanu Reeves and Neo, Carrie-Ann Moss as Trinity, and Jada Pinkett-Smith as Niobe.

The Matrix 4 and in general the franchise is such that it involves a lot of green screen editing and effects. But Neil also talked about them waiting to get the scene perfect in natural light. Keanu is already known for his flawless action and acting, but new casts with talented actors and actresses are expected to add even more flavour to the movie.
